It's a good look on you, Stevie, don't question it.
Oh yes, I don't go half-assed in this, it's going to be as spectacular as a Hellfire Club meeting.
There's uh. At least nine alone for the first book, so yeah.
Didn't even think you had it in you until I saw you in my vest, then yeah, your potential for adorable skyrocketed. Now I see it all the time.

That's more like it. That's the good old Scoops work ethic I heard so much about. [ It's not as if he can go a single moment without teasing the hell out of Steve anyway, is it?
Looking at the pile of papers, his own planning, sheets, plot notes, all Eddie can do is laugh. ] You want spoilers? You're gonna have to work and earn that, my good man.

you already knew that.

[ It's all sort of cute, the way that Steve reacts to things, as if it's all brand new. Eddie knows there was some stuff going on with Nancy way back when, but now? Now he gets the one to get Harrington all flustered. It's kinda... Nice.
Not that he's going to dwell on it too much, not when Steve sits up and shifts, rubbing his neck. Eddie leans away just a bit, to give him some room, to stop... Smothering him. ]
I'll bet you will.
[ But then Steve leans in, and smiles, and Eddie stops breathing for a brief moment and has to force himself to calm down, to try and not give in immediately. ]
I'll think about it, alright?
[ Especially if he keeps calling him sir. ]

i'm just full of surprises
[ And it's true that Eddie is not necessarily an outdoorsy person, but there are not many options when it comes to wanting to get away from the trailer. By the time Steve gets there, Eddie's other friends have already left, leaving him alone. He hadn't minded, especially when he knew Steve was on the way. A nearly empty bottle of vodka sits at his feet as Eddie remains perched atop a small boulder, pitching rocks over the edge of the quarry to pass the time.
When he hears Steve's car pulling in, he smiles to himself. He's already got a pleasant buzz going, and he blames that for the feeling of delight that flutters through him at the sound of Steve's voice. ]
My hero. [ He turns to face the other man, practically glowing in the moonlight. His gaze flicks to the bottle, recognizes it as something expensive. ] Wow, you brought the big guns.
