eddie turns around and tilts his head. it's a cute gesture, it is. it's pretty endearing, actually, but that's not the thing that steve gets hung up on as eddie gives him options of where to read. the smart thing is the couch but, well, steve's high and the idea of eddie in his room is pretty tempting. )
My room. ( said slowly, before he nods and grins. ) The bed's more comfortable than the couch, man. ( except the whole point is he's not supposed to fall asleep? right? that's out the window.
normally steve's pretty good about boundaries and not being too touchy, that's eddie's thing, but that goes out the window when he's high. he reaches for eddie's hand, then redirects -- clumsily -- to grab his wrist so he can lead up him the stairs. he stops at the bottom of them, frowns. ) Oh. Shoes off upstairs though. ( worried, as if that's a fucking deal breaker here. )
